Email::Filter

Email::Filter was introduced as a replacement for Mail::Audit, which was in turn a replacement for procmail. It is supposed to make it very easy to write email filter scripts to use as pipemailers.

Ideas
A bevy of useful plugin ideas can be found by looking at the features provided by Mail::Audit but not by Email::Filter. Some of the most often-requested plugins would provide standard logging or reply facilities.
Email::Filter would benefit hugely from the standardization of the PEP Plugin System.
